The much anticipated Orange Box is released tomorrow, which is like christmas to me. I'm taking the day off from work to play Episode 2 and all. To celebrate this, I've done this Team Fortress 2-inspired sketch. TF2 is an awesome game in all respects. I especially admire the character design, technically, gameplay-wise and aesthetically. However, although Valve have outdone themselves in nailing the classes as the quintessential archetypes they are, they're almost all white males. The Demoman is black and I guess there could be a woman under that pyro suit. However, I've had this idea to redesign the classes as females and I've begun with the easy ones. First out is the spy — half femme fatale, half TF2 spy. There will likely be more of these. |
